Foundation Layout
Our Layout Department is responsible for the majority of all layouts on our job sites. We have developed this system out of the need to consistently obtain accurate layouts for all jobs; minimizing costly mistakes, downtime and boosting customer satisfaction.
The Layout Department stakes the entire job after the excavation is complete so that it is ready for the footing crew to pour the footings. Once the footings are poured, the layout crews will return to the job and pin the points again for the wall crews. The wall crews are responsible for checking measurements and some overall diagonals to ensure the job's accuracy before and after they pour. The job information is stored in the data collectors so that they can easiy recall any information without needing to return to the office.
